Gary Simcock – Company Secretary & General Manager (info@nfrc.co.uk)

Responsible for the day-to-day running of the NFRC London Office including all matters related to staff, finance, IT, business services and Associate Members. First point of contact for all matters related to the constitution of the NFRC and its implementation. Deputises for the Chief Executive and is the NFRC representative and Honorary Treasurer on the National Home Improvement Council, CC Employment Affairs Committee and CC Joint Taxation Committee. National Specialist Contractors Council membership criteria and working parties.

Ian Henning – Technical Manager

First point of contact for technical matters. Provision of knowledge, advice, and consultation to members on all UK and European roofing standards. NFRC representative to all external technical committees.

Kevin Taylor - Technical and Training Manager

Responsible for training matters on behalf of NFRC including liaison with ConstructionSkills and assisting members with training related enquiries. Supporting the Technical Officer with technical queries and representing the NFRC on external committees. Responsible for the organisation of competitions.

Debbie Simcock – Events Manager

Responsible for the organisation of all NFRC National Events including the Annual Congress, Regional Technical and Business seminars and the NFRC Associates' Day. Responsible for the NFRC database and the recruitment of Trade Members at National. First point of contact for the TrustMark scheme and Affiliated Colleges. Secretary to the NFRC Management Board and Regional Secretaries committees, and Co-ordinator of UK Delegation at the International Roofing Federation (IFD). Co-ordinates the NFRC Excellence in Roofing Awards. Responsible for the organisation of NFRC solar collectors training courses.

Mary Rodriquez - Office Manager

Coordinates IT support, hardware maintenance and communications. Implementation of ISO9000, health & safety and office procedures. Secretary to NFRC Finance, Health & Safety, Competitions, Education Fund, Heritage and ACR committees. Co-ordinator of NFRC/Skillbuild competion. Co-ordinator of Safety in Roofing Awards and Accident Returns statistics.

Amy Morris - PR and Marketing Co-ordinator

Responsible for the projected image of the NFRC both within and external to the organisation. First point of contact for those wishing to promote their company or to inform members on a service. Communication of articles in the press, TV, on the website and in the NFRC Update magazine. Co-ordinating editor of Update newsletter and the Annual Directory.

Tan de Feo-Walsh - Associate Co-ordinator 

Provides direct support to the Technical Officer and secretary to NFRC Flat Roofing, Slating & Tiling, Sheeting & Cladding and TAG committees. Responsible for maintaining close links with existing NFRC Associate members via regular meetings to discuss how the Federation can assist them. The recruitment of new Associate members. Assistant co-ordinator of NFRC/Skillbuild competition.

Norma Claydon – Rececption & Accounts Support

A lady with an encyclopaedic memory of all NFRC benefits and publications. The first point of contact if a member has a problem or is unsure of NFRC services. Provision of a key service in referring members of the public wanting a roofing contractor to Regional Secretaries. Responsible for Board Room bookings, travel arrangements and hotel reservations.

Georgie Barber - Receptionist & Secretarial Support 

Second Receptionist. Provides admin support to CEO and Company Secretary and secretarial support to all staff. Assists in co-ordination of member accident returns. Secretary to NFRC Education & Training, RIA and NRTG committees.

Emma Turgoose - External Affairs Co-ordinator

Secretary and the first point of contact for the Flat Roofing Alliance (FRA) and the National Home Improvement Council (NHIC) - who are both now resident at Roofing House. Responsible for the organisation of the FRA Annual Awards & NHIC events and meetings.
