For your application to proceed...

A payment of £250 (plus VAT) is required this is to cover the cost of your application and inspection, which will be carried out prior to, and as a part of, your potential acceptance. This is a one-off payment, which is applicable to all prospective members, and is non-refundable.

All prospective members must pass a vetting process before they are accepted into membership. NFRC members pay an annual subscription either by Direct Debit or a single payment.

Next steps

  1. When your application form is received and application fee payment has cleared, your application will be sent to your NFRC regional manager
  2.  The regional manager will then contact you to discuss your application.
  3. There are three steps to NFRC membership:
    1. your company finances will be reviewed (a financial probity check)
    2. your business polices, processes and procedures will be requested (which covers: Employer's Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) insurances, Health & Safety Policy, Business Terms & Conditions, Complaints policy, Staff Training plan)
    3. An office and site inspection(s) will be arranged to check workmanship.
  4. Once all three steps are completed to our satisfaction, you will be offered NFRC membership and advised of your annual subscription fee.

Please note the application process can take a number of weeks and is dependent on how quickly you can provide any requested information and the availability of a site(s) to be inspected.
