BCP Lead Course

by NCTS | Oct 29, 2018

Do you carry out lead roofing work and do you need a CSCS Card? If so contact NCTS and ask about the Basic Competency Programme (BCP) in Lead from Envirowales, which is the first step to gaining a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card.

What is a BCP?

This is a one-day, manufacturer-approved theory and practical training course, which is mapped to vocational qualifications. Candidates who successfully complete the course can apply for a three-year Red Experienced Worker Card or a Trainee Card.

Once candidates are issued with the Red Experienced Worker Card or Trainee Card they have 18 months to register for an NVQ Level 2 Lead Worker Qualification.

Envirowales recycle 96% of car batteries, the lead taken from these batteries is branded Envirolead, a product specified by architects and stocked by merchants and only supplied by Associated Lead Mills (ALM) and Jamestown Metals Ltd (JML).
