    Booking is now open for the following courses by IRT Scotland, in association with G&M Safety Netting Ltd.

    • 5th December (08:30 - 16:30) FASET STEP Inspection for Managers Course
      • The 1 Day FASET STEP Inspection is a course delivered by G&M Safety Netting Ltd that combines two of the temporary safety systems provided by Safety Net Installers; Stair Towers and Edge Protection. Cost per person £235+vat

    • 6th December (08:30 - 16:30) FASET Safety Nets for Mangers Course
      • The 1 Day Safety Nets for Managers course designed for health and safety managers/inspectors, site managers, project managers and site supervisors who need to be aware of the standards of safety net rigging best practice for ongoing inspection,control and management purposes. Cost per person £160+vat.

    Learner participation during both courses is encouraged as are relevant questions and discussion and Certification will be issued after full attendance and successful completion of the tests

  • Finalists announced for this year’s NFRC Scottish Roofing Contractor of the Year Awards

    The NFRC Scottish Roofing Contractor of the Year Awards recognise and reward outstanding standards of workmanship and technical expertise in the roofing industry within Scotland.
     
    Entries were judged by an independent expert panel, with the finalists chosen for exceptional standards of workmanship and technical expertise across 13 categories, including roof slating, heritage roofing, roof tiling, roof sheeting & cladding and reinforced bituminous membrane.
     
    The winners will be announced at a gala lunch, hosted by TV broadcaster Jackie Bird, on 26 October at The Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow.
     
    Peter Treacy, Chairman of NFRC Scotland said: “Once again, we’ve had some fantastic entries that highlight the great work roofing contractors deliver across Scotland in all the roofing disciplines. It is, therefore, important that our industry comes together to celebrate these achievements and highlight the excellent work we provide our customers and clients."
