1. Applicants and Registered Contractors agree to pay NFRC the fees and charges as prescribed and published from time to time by NFRC. The application fee covers the administrative cost involved in processing the application, assessment and inspection of the Contractor.
2. Where an Applicant or Registered Contractor fails to meet the Membership Criteria, NFRC will notify it of the observations and non-compliances, which may require further inspection or assessment. The Contractor shall be responsible for its own costs and for NFRC costs for further inspections and assessments as are determined and published periodically by NFRC.
3. Registered Contractors agree that a sum equal to the 6 months of the annual fee is payable in the event that the Contractor cancels their status as a NFRC Trade Member.
4. Inspection and Application Fees are non-refundable.
5. Applications for membership of NFRC will be accepted by NFRC from any enterprise, sole trader, partnership, limited liability partnership, limited company, public limited company or other organisation; carrying out roofing works.
6. Applicants will complete an application form and submit such supporting documents as may be required and undergo a credit check.
7. All applicants agree to permit NFRC to appoint a suitably qualified person or persons for the purpose of conducting assessments or inspection visits.
8. Applicants and Registered Contractors will be expected to meet inspectors and make available for inspection, as and when requested by NFRC, sufficient work, both in progress and completed, as well as business documentation relevant to the initial application and for ongoing renewal of membership.
9. By applying to join NFRC, the applicant agrees that upon successful application their company details will be displayed on the NFRC website and promotional material.
10. Pounds sterling (£) is the only currency accepted for application and subscription fees.
11. The Applicant is deemed to have read and understood all of the included terms and conditions upon submission of an application.
12. Use of this site constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions which take effect when you first use this site. NFRC reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by posting changes online. You are responsible for reviewing regularly information posted online to NFRC in timely notice of such changes. Your continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of this agreement as modified by the posted changes.
13. Whilst NFRC endeavours to ensure that this site is normally available 24 hours a day, NFRC will not be liable if, for any reason, the site is unavailable at any time or for any period. NFRC does not warrant that that this website or any material is virus free.
14. Access to this site may be suspended temporarily or permanently and without notice.
15. Whilst NFRC endeavours to ensure that the information on this site is correct, no warranty, express or implied, is given as to its accuracy and NFRC does not accept any liability for error or omission.
