MHCLG Webinar: Strategy for the Built Environment Professions, Trades and Occupations

This webinar is recommended for anyone with an interest in the future of skills, behaviours, culture and accountability across the built environment sector.

Join the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) for a webinar on the Government's call for evidence on the future of the built environment professions, trades and occupations.

The call for evidence opened on 20 May 2026 and closes on 12 August 2026. It has been launched to gather views on the factors that influence how people work across all stages of the building lifecycle and across all building types. The findings will inform the development of a new long-term strategy for professions, trades and occupations operating within the built environment.

The webinar will:

  • Explain the aims of the Government's new strategy for the built environment professions, trades and occupations.
  • Outline the purpose, scope and structure of the call for evidence.
  • Provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions about the consultation.

This webinar is recommended for anyone with an interest in the future of skills, behaviours, culture and accountability across the built environment sector.
