Complete your Accident Return

Your NFRC accident return form is due on 30 November. Please take a few minutes to complete it now – it’s a membership requirement.

Members can now complete their NFRC accident return for the period 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023. The deadline for completing your NFRC accident return is Thursday 30 November 2023. Please be reminded that completion of the form is a membership requirement. It only takes a few minutes, and we ask that you complete it even if you haven't had any accidents! We are pleased to announce that NFRC's accident rate for the period 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 was 0.26%, which is 14 times lower than the national average. This information will be published in our NFRC 2023 accident report due to be published in the coming weeks. An accident rate of 0.26% is a fantastic achievement by you, the Members, and is really something to shout about. It also highlights the importance of completing your accident return, as without your information, we don't have the evidence to show that NFRC Members are consistently seeing fewer accidents than the national average.

The information you provide is also critical to enable NFRC, along with our industry partners and the HSE, to produce guidance on how to reduce accidents by reviewing the issues identified. This year we have included an additional, optional, question on the subject of drug and alcohol testing. NFRC is interested to find out the impact this is having on Members and in particular the welfare of the operatives that are subjected to testing. The data collected will help NFRC in collaboration with our Health, Safety and Environment committee to explore how best we can support our Members in this area.
