A library of sixteen BSI Publications, including BS 6229, BS 8000, and BS 5534, has been added to the NFRC Member Support Area and can be viewed and downloaded* completely free of charge.
NFRC encourages Members to utilise the resources and take advantage of the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge of industry best practice.
Richard Miller, Direct of Membership for NFRC, played an active role in securing the offering.
“We know the value of BSI publications and we’ve worked tremendously hard to achieve this.
“Access to these resources, completely free of charge, means a cost saving for our members whilst injecting a substantial investment into their learning and professional development.
“This all-new member benefit is a clear demonstration of NFRC’s commitment to professionalising the roofing and cladding trade and ensuring a competent workforce.”
BSI Publications are adopted by the industry to deliver quality and consistency, installation best practice, and safety and compliance.
Both trade members and suppliers will benefit from the new offering by understanding the specification for installation techniques, materials, and system performance, whilst following BSI publications helps contractors to comply with UK Building Regulations, Health and Safety legislation, and fire safety requirements.
Bob Richardson, Head of Technical and Training at NFRC said,
"This is a significant additional value to NFRC Membership.
