ONS: Construction output in Great Britain, March 2023

March saw a slight increase in construction output in volume terms.

The ONS data for March 2023 indicated that monthly construction output is estimated to have increased 0.2 per cent in volume terms in March 2023. This came from an increase in new work (0.7 per cent), partially offset by a decrease in repair and maintenance (-0.6 per cent). The main contributors to the monthly increase were in infrastructure new work and public other new work.
