Open Doors 2027–What to Know

Build UK have confirmed that preparations for Open Doors 2027 are now underway with the introduction of a revised, more flexible format to enable events to take place throughout March. This is to provide even more opportunities for businesses to showcase the sector and the wide range of careers the built environment has to offer.

The industry will need over 40,000 workers each year until 2030, according to the latest CITB Construction Workforce Outlook, and Open Doors has a proven track record of recruiting new entrants, both young people and career changes, with over 6,500 visitors across the UK attending the event in 2026.
