Sustainability, environment and net zero webinars

On 20 April, Gary Walpole, NFRC Technical Safety, Health & Environment Officer, hosted an online sustainability webinar. The webinar provided Members with an introduction to what sustainability strategies, net zero and carbon reduction plans mean to them and their organisation. The webinar consisted of a presentation and a panel discussion from representatives of Member companies: Caroline Haslam, Head of QSHE at FK Group Julie Newcombe, Head of Quality and Environment at Lindner Prater Phillip Wilcox-Moore, Managing Director at Axter Sharon Llewellyn, Director of Support Services and Risk Management at JPR Roofing and Flooring Tom Raftery, Product Manager – Solar PV at Bauder.

The session gave provided some background on the commitments the UK has made to reduce carbon emissions and how we can all work to reduce carbon following simple steps and measures.
