Updated Working Rule Agreement – August 2025

The Construction Industry Joint Council (CIJC) has published the revised Working Rule Agreement (WRA), effective from 1 August 2025. 

The WRA sets out the nationally agreed terms and conditions for operatives in the construction industry, including pay rates, working hours, travel and subsistence allowances, overtime, holidays, sick pay, grievance and disciplinary procedures, and health, safety and welfare provisions. It also includes specific rules for apprentices, shift work, night work, and specialist tasks.
