Achieving MCIOB demonstrates your experience, skills, and leadership in managing construction projects, and is recognised internationally as a mark of professional excellence.

The Chartered Membership Roofing Programme is designed for roofing professionals with experience and management skills who want recognition and career progression, even if they don’t have formal academic qualifications. By completing the programme, you can:

Who is it for?

The Chartered Membership Roofing Programme is designed for roofing professionals with at least five years’ experience who want to demonstrate their competency and grow their leadership, credibility, and career opportunities in roofing management.


How it works:

The programme course is delivered entirely online, combining self-paced e-learning with live interactive webinars and ongoing support:

  • Flexible online learning: Complete the course at your own pace over six months.

  • Live webinars: Held after each module to reinforce learning, answer your questions, and provide actionable insights.

  • Peer forum: Discuss concepts, share experiences, and network with fellow delegates.

  • Professional Review: On completion of the course, submit your Professional Review — the final step to achieving MCIOB. (£360 fee payable directly to CIOB).

  • Modules include: Business & Construction Environment, Health, Safety & Welfare, Management, and Advanced Roofing Construction & Design.
