The Building Safety Act (BSA) has significant implications for the construction industry. It's crucial that we understand our obligations under the BSA to manage our businesses effectively to contribute to safer buildings. The act emphasises the importance of best practices and formalises accountability through evidence-based management to ensure that buildings are constructed safely.

The Cube awareness workshop guides you through the core principles of the BSA, stepping through relevant history, legislation, duty holder obligations, the new gateway building control process and the specific requirements associated with HRB projects. All content is referenced against PAS, BSI, CIOB & RIBA standards and associated documentation.

It is critical that this message is extended throughout our industry reinforcing best practice focusing on capability, competence, compliance and change. This Act does and should affect everyone in construction. We will outline the key aspects and demonstrate how embracing these changes will improve project outcomes.

In testing existing knowledge and providing simple facts for forward business and construction management, you will leave the workshop empowered with knowledge to apply in your given role and understanding that you can share. Enabling cooperation in the true spirit of the Act.

Availability to attend this event is on a first come, first served basis. If you cannot attend in person, you may join online. Please email Sean Wootten for details.
