Entering the Scottish Roofing Awards

Projects must have been completed by a Roofing Contractor that is a current, active member of NFRC in the Scottish region.

The company that enters the awards needs to be the company that enters into contract with the client, or sub-contract if it is through a main contractor/agent etc acting on behalf of the client. This contractor is the one which would be contractually bound for the design, supply and installation of the requirements of the contract as a “whole”, not just a sub-let portion of the project.

We welcome projects submissions by Manufacturers, Architects and Specifiers, but must ensure that the roofing contractor is a member of NFRC. The consent of the contractor should be obtained.
Note: the award will always be presented to the roofing contractor—but where the entry was submitted by a supplier, they will be mentioned if the project gets shortlisted.

• Projects must have a completion date between 1 August 2024 and 31 July 2025.
• All entries must be submitted by no later than Thursday 31 August 2025.
• Entries can only be submitted online. No other method of entry will be accepted.
• You can submit more than one entry, however, you can only submit a project into one category, not across multiple categories. If the roof is multi-disciplined but under a value of £250k (so cannot go into the multi-discipline award category), focus on the strongest aspect and enter it into the most suitable category. If you are not sure, then you are welcome to contact the award organisers prior to submission.
• All entries must be anonymised. Please ensure any photos/videos that are submitted do not contain logos or other means of identifying the contractor. The organisers reserve the right to edit or remove images before presenting to the judging panel if they are not deemed anonymous.
