Consultation on the Control of Asbestos Regulations and guidance

HSE’s consultation is seeking views on proposals to enhance worker and public protection from asbestos exposure. To view the consultation and to submit comments visit: Legislative and guidance proposals for the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.

The consultation remains open until 9 January 2026.

NFRC technical guidance for the design and construction of blue roofs has been extensively updated. The guidance is split into fifteen sections covering everything from design through to post-installation inspection and maintenance.
