For young people:

BMI supports both flat and pitched roofing apprentices across the UK through our college engagement programme. We offer free of cost training materials, CPD and training as well as running our annual BMI Apprentice of the Year Award.

The ‘Apprentice of the Year’ is a competition open to all apprentices in the roofing industry, formally trained or otherwise. We work with colleges, training organisations and employers to select the top flat and pitched roofing apprentices from across the UK to compete for a £1,000 cash prize.

For employers:

BMI delivers systems training to develop the skill set of your employees. From basic roofing practice in both flat and pitched, to detailed systems-specific courses to improve competence and compliance on site, we help you get it right first time.

We offer specification and standards training as well as a wide range of webinar content.

Provision

The BMI Academy is located in South Cerney, Cirencester, just north of Swindon. We also have training bases in the Manchester area and Stirling, Scotland.

We deliver systems training and industry CPD.
