The Construction College Midlands specialises in construction training for employees in the industry as well as training up new workers on our apprenticeships.

For employers:

The Construction College Midlands is a CITB Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) providing construction training courses and qualifications to a defined and industry-agreed standard.

We are also an approved CISRS training centre. The Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) has been the industry recognised scaffold training scheme for over 40 years. It is the preferred scaffolding qualification of all the major organisations including CSCS, NASC, HSE, Build UK, UNITE and the largest scaffold systems manufacturers.

We provide courses for the construction industry at all levels from apprentice to director. We also offer personal and tailored variations of our courses to meet specialist requirements. We can deliver some bespoke courses on customer premises for groups of six or more.

Provision: What and where?

Construction College Midlands (CCM) are located in Kings Norton, Birmingham. Our courses cover all of England. We offer the CITB ‘Travel to Train’ grant for eligible apprentices, where CITB can fund 80 per cent of accommodation costs and some additional funding for travel.

Our Roofer Standard is delivered on block release at our Kings Norton Campus.

Roof Slater and Tiler course

A Roof Slater and Tiler works on a building site, or in domestic or commercial premises, installing slate and tile roof coverings and related products to both new and existing buildings.

In addition to this, the provider offers a number of other courses, including but not limited to construction NVQs delivered remotely, from Level 2 to Level 7, Scaffolding and Access courses, and Health and Safety courses.
