Key information

For young people:

Juniper support young people through Study Programmes and Vocational Pathways that enable students who are 16 – 18 (or 16 – 24 with a EHCP) to obtain the necessary employability skills, experience and qualifications to progress onto an apprenticeship, into employment or further education within six months.

Regardless of the area of work you want to work in, our WorkSkills pathway is tailored to suit your needs. Sector-specific pre-apprenticeship pathways enable you to secure a work placement in a specific vocational area and work towards sector specific qualifications.

Traineeships range from six weeks to twelve months and give young people the skills and experience to progress onto apprenticeships or sustainable employment. Suitable for anyone aged 16 – 24, traineeships are predominantly work experience focussed, with an opportunity for you to undertake maths and English qualifications up to GCSE level where needed.

Apprenticeships enable people to earn a wage whilst acquiring the relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours in a job role of your choice—you can be sure to succeed on a Juniper apprenticeship, and remember apprenticeships are for anyone of any age!

For employers:

Operating for over 35 years, Juniper are an innovative, flexible and experienced provider in delivering training solutions to individuals and businesses through our eleven centres across the West Midlands, East Midlands and North West. We support in excess of 2000 students per year and work with over 400 employers. We are listed on the government’s Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (ATPs) and are rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in all areas of provision. We are ideally placed to support students, adults and employers in bridging the skills gaps between education and employment.

We can help SME’s access government funding that covers up to 95 per cent of the cost of training. This is for both new apprentices and to upskill your existing workforce. Equally, we’ll help to fully utilise your apprenticeship levy if you are a large employer. In addition, the Chancellor has recently announced an extension to the incentives available of up to £3000 when taking on a new apprentice: now is a great time to hire. We can also support employers with our bespoke recruitment service that includes advertising, sifting and shortlisting applicants. Contact us to find out more, using the above details.
