Midlands Golf Event–Tournament Results
Held annually, the Midlands golf tournament has been a staple event for the region across many years with Trade and Supplier members enjoying a friendly competition on a great course. For this year's event, NFRC hosted members at Forest of Arden Golf & Country Club, Solihull. The event was kindly sponsored by SIG Building Solutions and GeoShield.
Once again, the 2026 edition of the tournament was blessed with great weather and golfers were welcomed with a casual breakfast and refreshments on arrival before the competition began. A total of 72 golfers made up the 18 teams, with 19 different companies joining us.
Following the tournament, which included Nearest to the Pin and Furthest Drive, members were invited to enjoy a relaxed social and networking opportunity during a 3-course meal and finished off with a ceremonial awards display for the winners of the golf.
Once the scores were tallied up, the winners were confirmed as:
- Winning team: J Wright Roofing
- 2rd place: Ideal Roofing & Cladding
- Nearest the pin: Wigston Roofing

NFRC hosts events across the Midlands region each year, with the next Member Social confirmed for 4 June at Uttoxeter Racecourse, where guests will enjoy all the action from a private marquee right at the finish line.
