For young people:

We offer apprenticeships in Roof Slating & Tiling, as well as Waterproof membrane installer. We have full time courses in Construction where learners can sample various trades when leaving school. They can then progress in to courses to suite there needs and requirements, which will then hopefully lead to an apprenticeship in the chosen trade.

For employers:

We can work with employers to find suitable candidates for the company requirements. Making sure our learners are work ready for the role expected of them. We can also train existing workforces in Roofing apprenticeships in Slating & Tiling or Waterproof membrane installer. This can be done over a 24 month period on 1 week blocks to suite company needs.

Provision: What and where?

The apprenticeships are delivered over a 24 month period. It is delivered on 1 week blocks throughout the period to suite the needs of employers. It covers the required knowledge, skills and behaviours required to become a tradeperson. Delivered in our college in Consett County Durham. However, we do cover the whole of the North East of the UK, and can discuss each case individually as there are various options to consider, and various help is out there to assist with travel to train, accommodation etc.
